The sector is not short of funding. It is short of clarity, control and confidence in how that funding is managed. When providers can clearly see, understand and act on their data, both financial performance and care outcomes improve.

About

Tanvi Dalal is the Founder and CEO of FicusBridge, bringing over a decade of executive experience in aged care funding, operations and reform. With a clinical background and an MBA from Melbourne Business School, she has worked at organisations such as Estia Health, Mirus Australia and Signature Care, where she led funding strategy and operations across multiple large residential aged care homes.

Throughout her career, Tanvi observed a consistent challenge across the sector. Many providers were unknowingly leaving significant funding unclaimed due to the complexity of the AN-ACC model, fragmented systems and a lack of real time visibility. This insight led to the creation of FicusBridge, a platform and advisory service designed to simplify funding management and empower teams with clear, actionable insights.

Tanvi is recognised for her deep expertise in AN-ACC, care minutes and their intersection with operational performance. She works closely with aged care providers to build internal capability, improve decision making and ensure sustainable financial outcomes without compromising quality of care.

Her approach combines practical experience, data driven insight and a strong focus on supporting frontline teams, helping organisations move from reactive funding management to a more proactive and confident model.

The Fun Stuff
Why Aged Care
I came into aged care as a clinician, but what kept me here was seeing how deeply the system impacts both residents and the people caring for them. Over time, I realised that many of the challenges providers face are not due to lack of intent, but lack of clarity and support in navigating complex funding systems. I am driven by the belief that when providers are financially strong and confident in their decisions, they are better able to invest in their people and deliver better care.
