About

Che Turner is the co-founder of Olive Express, a social enterprise delivering immersive travel environments into residential aged care. With more than a decade of experience across the sector, Che has worked from the ground up, starting as a carer and progressing through senior, state, and national management roles. This hands-on and leadership experience gives him a practical understanding of the daily pressures faced by care teams, and the gap between what providers want to deliver and what is realistically achievable at scale.

Holding diplomas in business management and human services, and currently completing a Bachelor of Science (Registered Nurse), Che combines operational, clinical, and commercial insight. His work is grounded in a clear belief: aged care should deliver not just safety, but meaningful, engaging experiences that improve quality of life.

After more than a decade in aged care, from frontline roles to national leadership, Che saw the gap between delivering care and creating meaningful experiences. That changed when he witnessed residents fully engage, share stories, and reconnect through immersive environments. What started as an experiment quickly became a clear mission to improve how people experience daily life in care.
